We are having a few meetings over the next 6 weeks to provide us, the church', with a chance to brainstorm together the days/events that lie ahead of us in this area of multiple venues. This is a venue for you to provide input and suggestions. There will be 3 meetings focused on different areas/topics and are as follows:
How multiple venues affects us 'logistically' - Location, Bands, Children's Ministry
Saturday, June 12th @ 2pm
How multiple venues affects us 'organizationally' - Budget, Staff, etc.
Saturday June 26th @ 2pm
How multiple venues affects us 'personally' - Home groups, Journey groups, Volunteers, etc
Saturday July 10th @ 2pm
*There will also be a website to facilitate discussion on said topics as well as follow-up planning etc for those involved.
We're having our 2nd Annual "spring cookout" this Sunday at Lake Wheeler Park. 12:45pm - 5pm. Bring your friends, family, co-workers, and unicorns (just seeing if anyone reads this.) We'll have plenty of pig and chicken. -Jason
A family in our church (Jon and Amy Hathaway) are having a yard sale Saturday morning at 6am sponsoring World Vision - Amy has collected goods from over 25 families. Huge inventory. All proceeds will go to her fundraising mission. Please see the advertisement she's posted on Craig's List for more info.
In case you were wondering... Our worship gathering times for Easter Sunday are staying the same. You can join us at the 9am or 11am. Have a great weekend!
Thursday, April 1st we will have a church-wide Sedar meal here at our building. All are invited to remember and reflect on Jesus life, death, resurrection, and our need for a Savior.
